My name is Jacqui Cruz and I created Michael Isabella Fashion House NY in 2020. Fun Fact: Michael Isabella is actually named after my kids. I wanted to share with them this adventure in our life and show them that they are my constant inspiration.

I have been designing since I was 9 years old as I helped my mom as her assistant seamstress. I even sold my first design to beauty pageant contestant and after that I was hooked. Then I studied with many seamstress. I continued my studies at Katherine Gibbs in NY. There I learned marketing, merchandizing, and CAD. Then I worked with designers at Manhattan Trimmings also in NY learning special technique on fabrics like pleating, specialty stitches, and beading.

Since 2020, I’ve been designing unique pieces reflecting the styles and vibes of NEW YORK CITY. I grew up with a strong curiosity about the world of design, and began crafting stylish clothing and jewelry samples at a young age. I love working with other local vendors and artists in order to create collaborative pieces that not only inspire, but empower those who see the world through seasonally-colored glasses.
